We wrote this in plain English so you can actually read it. The short version: we collect what we need to run the platform, we never sell your data, and you can delete your account whenever you want.

Infrastructure providers we need to deliver the service: AWS (hosting, storage, transcoding) and email providers (when we send you account notifications).
Google Analytics, which processes usage data (pages and screens viewed, actions like uploads and votes, approximate location, device type) so we can see how DusDus is used.
Law enforcement when we receive a valid legal request (subpoena, court order) — we push back on overbroad requests.
We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party trackers. We have never, and will never, sell personal information.

Most of these are self-serve in your account settings. For anything else, email hello@dusdus.com — we respond within 30 days.
Active accounts: as long as you keep using DusDus. Deleted accounts: personal data is purged within 30 days. Videos associated with deleted accounts are retained for up to 90 additional days so we can handle abuse investigations that reference them; after that, they're removed.
DusDus is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.
We use strictly essential cookies (auth session, CSRF) and functional cookies (theme, language). We also use Google Analytics to count how features are used, on the website and in the mobile apps. We do not enable Google's advertising features and we do not use your data for ad targeting. See our Cookie Policy for details.
We'll give you at least 30 days' notice (via email and an in-app banner) before any material change takes effect. Non-material changes — fixing typos, clarifying wording — may happen without notice; we'll always update the "Last updated" date above.
