DusDus doesn't allow content that infringes someone else's copyright. If you own a work that's been uploaded here without your permission, we'll take it down.
Send a takedown notice to hello@dusdus.com with "re: Copyright" in the subject, and include:
We review valid notices quickly, usually within 48 hours. If the content infringes, we remove it and notify the uploader. They can file a counter-notice if they believe it was removed in error — they have 10 business days to respond, after which the content may be reinstated unless you file a court action.
Accounts that accumulate three validated infringement strikes are terminated. Strikes expire after 12 months if no further violations occur.
Not every reuse is infringing. Commentary, criticism, parody, and transformative work often qualify as fair use (or local equivalents). We consider context when evaluating notices and counter-notices.
Filing a materially false takedown notice can have legal consequences in your jurisdiction. Don't send one to silence a competitor or over content you don't own.
