DusDus lets you delete your account and the data associated with it at any time. Deletion deactivates your account immediately, but your data is kept for a grace period (30 days by default) so you can change your mind — simply log back in during that window to restore everything. After the grace period your data is permanently deleted. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your data afterwards.
You can delete your account directly from the app in a few taps:
If you have lost access to your account and can't sign in to use the steps above, email us from the address you registered with and we will verify your identity and delete the account on your behalf:
hello@dusdus.com — subject line: Account deletion request. We respond within 30 days.
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
Your account is deactivated and hidden right away. Personal data is permanently purged once the grace period (30 days by default) elapses, unless you restore the account before then by logging back in.
A small amount of data is retained for a limited time so we can meet legal obligations and keep the platform safe:
See the Privacy Policy for the full data retention details.
During the grace period your account is only deactivated, so you can restore it and everything in it — videos, followers, messages — by logging back in. Once the grace period ends the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you just want a break, you can also sign out without deleting; your account stays dormant until you sign back in.
